On February 7, 2009, CNUP Co-Director Alan Sved served as a judge and award presenter at the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Sciences (PJAS) Region 7 Science Fair held at Keystone Oaks High School. Although Dr. Sved had been serving as a judge for the PJAS Science Fair for several years, this is the first year that the CNUP has presented an award for the best project related to neuroscience. Overall, there were more than 100 entries in the Behavioral Sciences category.
