Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair

The Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair (PRSEF) takes place each year at Heinz Field. In 2009, more than 1,000 students in grades 6 through 12 participated in the 70th PRSEF. The Department of Neuroscience helps support the PRSEF and sponsors the Neuroscience award, given to the best neuroscience-related student project. Jon Johnson, professor of neuroscience, served as judge and presented the Neuroscience award to the following projects:
